Honouring the legacy of Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, one of the greatest maestros of Hindustani Classical music, we present a concert showcasing classical and devotional compositions from the esteemed Kirana gharana.
This special evening features Pandit Shrinivas Joshi, a distinguished musician and son-disciple of the legendary Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, along with the gifted young vocalist Viraj Joshi, his grandson. Joining them is UK-based acclaimed vocalist Dr. Vijay Rajput, a proud representative of the same musical lineage.
Adding to the ensemble, young artist Jay Rajput will provide vocal support and Tanpura accompaniment. Tabla accompaniment will be performed by Saleel Tambe, a highly respected tabla virtuoso known for collaborating with leading musicians worldwide, while Siddhiie Kapshikarr, an emerging harmonium talent, completes the lineup.
