The Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) Awards celebrate students who successfully balance part-time work with their studies, as well as employers who provide valuable work experience. This year, we are inviting nominations in five award categories, with prizes of up to £100 in vouchers.
These prestigious awards also proved the chance to highlight excellent student employers, who provide valuable work experience opportunities. With five categories open to individuals and employers, the SEOTY Awards are a great way to celebrate success.
Students can be nominated for work in part time roles both on campus - working for a college or Department, or working off campus - for a company or business in the local area.
Nominations are also invited for the Employer of the Year, the employers who are deemed to be exceptional for students to work for - those offering outstanding opportunities and support. This can be a department within the University or an organisation employing students in the local area.
The winners will be announced and the SEOTY Awards presented at a ceremony to be held at The Hub, Mount Oswald, on Wednesday 30 May.
Nominations are open until Friday 7 March - so be sure to act fast to celebrate our hard working student employees and employers.
