The IAS has established a writing group for Durham academics and current IAS Fellows and IAS Associate Fellow who want to spend undisturbed time focusing on their papers, books, grants, talks, and other creative activities.

The group will be meeting every Friday, starting 24 January 2025, in the interim SCR (formerly the Chaplain's Suite) in University College (Castle). For directions, report to the Porter's Lodge.
The format will alternate between working in silence and sociable breaks in the neighbouring room. The space will be held the whole day, but participants can leave at any point.
