Durham's new Game Studies network, supported by CRIE, will be meeting on Friday 26 September in Durham. The morning will consist of lightning talks from a wide range of colleagues working with games at Durham. The afternoon will bring together representatives in games from other NE universities, partners in the policy and innovation space, and regional game developers. The aim is to establish a wider network of connections, to put NE game studies firmly on the map, and to shape agendas for future research.
CRIE will be holding a small informal interdisciplinary workshop on inner speech on Wednesday 12 November. A few spaces are available; please get in touch for further details.
The Consciousness Reading Group will meet online on Thursday 13 November, 4–5pm. Philip Goff will be leading a discussion on quantum mechanics and consciousness. Please get in touch for details and meeting link.
