Changes to Student Regulations, Policies and Codes of Practice
Please be aware that the Student Regulations, Policies and Codes of Practice, Statutes, Policies and Procedures may be amended from time to time by Durham University, for example, in the light of changes in the law or the requirements of the University's regulators. Where such changes are deemed significant they will normally come into force at the beginning of the following academic year, and where such changes are fundamental, they will normally come into force with effect for the next cohort of students.
If there is any conflict or discrepancy between what is stipulated in the General Regulations and the provisions of the Policies and Codes of Practice, College or Departmental publications, or Faculty Handbook, the stipulations within the General Regulations will take precedence.
