At Durham University Day Nursery, we strongly believe in the inclusion of children with special or additional learning needs.
Caring for children with special needs is an area of particular expertise amongst our professional, fully qualified staff. We operate as an inclusive environment and we are recognised as having expertise in caring for children with special needs. An extensive range of support is provided by our dedicated nursery staff, together with a range of specialist equipment to give the best possible experience for those who need a little extra support. We also have a nominated Special Educational Needs Coordinator and very good links with the Local Authority Early Years Team.
