Hong Kong Chapter Halloween Tour and Dinner

Join our local Durham University Alumni Chapter in Hong Kong as we celebrate Halloween in style this year.  We will start off with a Halloween haunted house tour and end with a pizza party.

Our community cultural tour in Wanchai takes our guests to historical sites filled with ghostly myth and haunted legend.  The tour seeks to not only help our guests better understand local religions and beliefs, but also shed light on the transformation taking place within the community.  The tour will be hosted by the Viva Blue House Project, a unique conservation project involves Wanchai residents, as well as St. James’ Settlement and other local NGOs.  The Project was awarded the 2017 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation.  All fees for the cultural tour go to St. James’ Settlement.

The cultural tour will be followed by dinner, which will take place at Motorino, a Neapolitan pizzeria in Wanchai.  The restaurant uses ingredients of the highest quality flown in fresh from Naples.  The chef was recently ranked 85th on the World’s Best Pizza Awards List. The meal includes antipasti, mains, desserts, and wine.

Guests are strongly encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costumes.
