Our Business School has strengthened its position among the global elite, ranking joint 85th in the prestigious Financial Times Global MBA Ranking for 2026.

This is the 13th consecutive year that our MBA has been placed in the world top 100.

It adds to our strong performance in the QS 2026 Global MBA rankings, where we were also placed in the world top 100, and the Financial Times Online MBA rankings, where we in the world top ten.

We are also a triple accredited Business School, from AACBS, AMBA, and EFMS/EQUIS.

In these rankings, we score particularly highly for sustainability, being placed 19th globally for environmental, social and governance (ESG) and net zero teaching. This reflects the priority we give to ESG matters in our teaching, and how we equip graduates to address sustainability challenges.

Supporting your career success

Our MBA graduates enjoy outstanding careers. Alumni from the most recently surveyed cohort reported earning on average £114,303 three years after graduation – a 73% increase on their pre-MBA earnings.

The breadth of professional expertise of our students is reflected in our ranking 39th globally for sector diversity; and we rank 71st for research, based on faculty publications in international journals.

Professor Kieran Fernandes, Executive Dean of our Business School, said: “These results highlight what defines the Durham MBA: rigorous research, responsible business, and a world-class, international learning environment that prepares students to lead with purpose.”
