Bailey Ball is the event of the year for many; a grand night of dancing and celebrating each November. Every Bailey Ball is a magical night with a different theme, from Peter Pan to Willy Wonka to Alice in Wonderland.
Every Wednesday the St John’s Chapel Choir sing at Evensong in our College Chapel, the Chapel of St Mary the Less. It’s a beautiful occasion to find time to rest and be still in the midst of busy student life.
Our weekly formal dinners are not to be missed. With over 100 gowned Johnians together in Leech Hall, we enjoy a three-course meal together, hear an after-dinner speaker and end the evening by socialising over cheese and crackers in the Vasey Rooms.
Once summer comes around and exams are over, the whole College gets together in the gardens to enjoy a day of fun. With a raft race competition, inflatable entertainment, live music, dancing and more, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of a busy academic year!
