Bar

Our bar, run by Johnians for Johnians, is famous throughout Durham. Tucked away in the cellars of College, our main bar is small but full of character. With some of the cheapest drinks in the University, it’s a favourite among students. There's also the Upstairs Bar for when the cellar bar gets busy.

Social distancing rules over the summer of 2020 inspired us to repurpose the Upstairs Bar and neighbouring outdoor space on Linton, forming the Linton Garden Bar! Linton Bar is accessed from the lawns at the back of the college and there are many large tables and parasols for socialising.
