Gym and Sporting Facilities

A new building for the gym was opened in February 2018, located next to Cruddas House. The gym has ergs, cross trainers, treadmills and much more. There is also a weights room.

Gym membership costs £50 per year whilst you are completing your degree – to join, simply email johns.reception@durham.ac.uk. Please note that you must take a gym induction session and become a paid member before using any of the equipment.

For safety reasons, the minimum number of people using the gym at any one time is two, i.e. you must be accompanied. You pick the gym key up at reception.
