Following on from the huge success of the Durham BFI Careers Week, we are delighted to bring this exclusive series of workshops aimed at students who are serious about a career in film and television.
Over the course of six hours (spread over two afternoons, on 8 and 15 February), four industry professionals will provide the key essential tools and information for students are who about to embark on their careers in film/tv production, post-graduation.
The course provides honest, practical information from those currently working across the UK film & television industry. Students will also be supplied with a list of resources for further reading.
All sessions are delivered via Zoom. Maximum 40 students.

- Jude Winstanley: Line Producer, founder of The Unit List and events producer for the Royal Television Society
- Matt Gallagher: founder of thecallsheet.co.uk, author of Breaking into UK Film and TV Drama and lead trainer for the Film Trainee Finder
- Richard Knight: Location Manager (Four Lions, This is England) and lead trainer for Screen Yorkshire
