England Hockey will host the first ever international hockey tournament in Durham this summer as the Women’s EuroHockey Qualifiers are set to take place at Durham University.
From 25-28th August, England’s Women will compete with Wales, Croatia and Slovakia for a place at the 2023 European championships. The top team on points after all the matches are played will take the qualification spot. The competition takes place at the Sport and Wellbeing Park, we will be working with England Hockey as an Official Event partner and making use of the state-of-the-art facilities.
A range of options of tickets will be available, including a new standing ground pass as well as some covered seating. Off the pitch there will be a choice of food and drink concessions, a hockey fun zone and hockey shop.
Durham University Hockey Club will have two alumni representing the England Team, Fiona Crackles and Tess Howard, who are also in the Commonwealth Games Squad.
