Great Britain Hockey has announced a squad of 36 players and five reserves has been selected for the GB Men's Elite Development Programme (EDP) in 2023. During their time in the programme, players will attend a number of two-day training camps and will be in regular contact with the senior squads through training sessions and practice matches.
Congratulations to Durham University Hockey Club's power trio, Erdal Demir of South College, Ben Gaze of Trevelyan College and James Valelly of Collingwood College, for being selected to represent GB Hockey. The organisation speaks very fondly of their upcoming opportunities, and highlights the successes of former Durham athletes, now alumni, Fiona Crackles and Ollie Payne.
