MSc in Geoenergy

This MSc offers training and experience in geoenergy as we move to a low-carbon economy. The Geoenergy programme includes a range of resource-related themes, including Petroleum, Unconventional Hydrocarbons, Geothermal, Clean Coal, Resources from Waste, Carbon Capture and Storage, Water and Mineral Resources. The programme is unique in offering a research-focused masters with some taught and training components supported by the Durham Energy Institute (DEI) and MSc in Energy and society (L6K807, Department of Anthropology). Training in this field could lead to job opportunities within the energy industry or with regulatory bodies and consultancies.
