Gratefully supported by the British Council, Durham University is delighted to announce five fully funded scholarships for female students from Mexico interested in pursuing master’s studies in the 2025/26 academic year.

Two of our MSc courses in the Department of Geography – the MSc Climate, Risk and Society and the MSc Environmental Hazards and Risk - have been selected to be on the list of eligible courses for this year’s British Council Scholarships for Women in Stem scheme: British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM - Durham University.

The scheme will pay for 5 female students from MEXICO to undertake an MSc at Durham.  The funding includes full tuition fee payment, 12 months stipend, return flights from Mexico, visa application fee, NHS surcharge and insurance for each student.  The linked page above gives information about the scheme and how to apply.  The deadline for applications is 16th March 2025.
