David Hollington 1967-1970
(In my) final year at Durham, I was especially committed to Dr Mike Tooley s little band of four studying Quaternary Geomorphology -eg sea level change on Tees estuary.
I kept in touch with Mike ever since -even when he became Professor of Geography at St Andrews.
Joined Metal Box (later taken over by Sonoco) as a "General Duties" Graduate Trainee in Sept 1970. (the "Milk Round" at Durham worked well for me).
Retired at 60 having worked with them all my time in paid employment.

Transport Foreman 1972 -5-Acton London
Transport Manager !975-1980 Manchester
1980 - 2008 various Middle Management roles at Manchester factory - Production Controller/ Materials Manager/Stock Controller.
Retirement since 2008 and kept busy doing verious roles

I was privileged to attend a celebration of my 50 years on Graduation at Durham Cathedral -January 2020. I still attend University College reunions .
