Ralph Waggett MA Studentship in History
The Department of History is pleased to announce the Ralph Waggett MA Studentship as an addition to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities’ postgraduate bursaries and scholarships for 2021-22.
The Department recognises that Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities are under-represented in our student body and in academia more generally, and we are proactively seeking ways to support students who self-identify as from such communities in their academic careers. To help address this under-representation, the Department therefore encourages applications to the Ralph Waggett MA Studentship from any student planning to enter the History Department’s 2021-22 MA programme who self-identifies as belonging to a Black or Asian ethnic group, as of mixed heritage, or otherwise as of a BAME background.
Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible for this studentship you must:
· Self-identify as belonging to a Black or Asian ethnic group, as of mixed heritage, or otherwise as of a BAME background
· Meet the entry criteria for the MA in History
Benefits:
The Ralph Waggett MA Studentship in History is available thanks to a generous donation from our alumni community. The Studentship is available for one year full-time or two years part-time and offers the following financial support package:
