The latest edition of Symeon focuses on the theme of recovery, as society starts to reopen following the Covid-19 pandemic, with articles ranging from the recovery of earwax to Brexit and the myths of the Second World War

It also features a feature from Department alumnus John Hamer OBE on the difficulties of teaching History in post-conflict societies, along with an article from our Head of Department, Sarah Davies, providing an update on Department news over the last year.

The editorial team this year consisted of Nicola McNeil (editor-in-chief), Daniel Adamson, Lily Chadwick and Rachel Clamp.
