Thebes Scholarship announced

Durham History Department is pleased to announce the Thebes History Scholarship, which will first be offered to students beginning their degree in academic year 2022/23
The scholarship will be awarded to an incoming undergraduate History student of a low income household, who demonstrates exceptional potential.
The Scholarship is being made available as a result of a generous donation from an alumnus of the Department, and is named because of his grandmother's love of Ancient Egypt, and particularly the city of Thebes.
Further details about the scholarship, including the application form, will be made available in early November.
