Module registration
If you would like to request an amendment to your modules, please email history.taughtprogrammes@durham.ac.uk. Please note that amendments are only permitted up to the end of the second week of the academic year.
Coursework extensions
Occasionally, significant events outside of your control may affect your ability to meet an essay deadline. You can submit an extension request through our extension request app, or email history.taughtprogrammes@durham.ac.uk if this is not possible. Requests should be submitted by 12 noon on the day prior to the submission deadline date, or earlier if your deadline is on a Monday. Requests are not monitored at weekends.
For more information on extensions, see the Undergraduate Student SharePoint.
Academic advisors
Alongside your regular contact hours with specific module or seminar/module leaders, you are allocated an academic advisor each year within the History Department. The role of the Academic Advisor is to provide academic support, advice and guidance to enable you to gain the most from your studies in the History Department.
