The Bursary is shared with History and is therefore offered by the Law School every other year. For the 25/26 Academic year, the Bursary will be given out by the Law department.
The following Bursary is available for the upcoming academic year:
Thanks to the generous legacy donation of supporter and friend, Ralph Whitell Waggett, to the University, Durham Law School is able to offer this LLM Bursary as an addition to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health postgraduate bursaries and scholarships. The Bursary is shared with History and is therefore offered by the Law School every other year. The Department recognises that North-East/North-Yorkshire scholars are under-represented in our student body and as we are proactively seeking ways to support students who come from these regions in their academic careers. To help address this under-representation, the Department therefore encourages applications to the Ralph Wagett LLM studentship from any Home student planning to enter a Master of Laws programme who comes from or has grown up in the North-East or North-Yorkshire (exact postcodes can be found in the Application form).
