Caroline Stockmann was Chief Executive of the Association of Corporate Treasurers from February 2017 to April 2023, and now has a portfolio career across several organisations.
Prior to 2017 Caroline had 20 years’ experience in senior finance, commercial and strategic posts at a number of commercial as well as not-for-profit organisations. These included Unilever/ Bestfoods (Thailand, Netherlands and UK), Novartis, British Council and Save the Children International. Much of her working life has been spent overseas.
Caroline trained with KPMG and is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW). She has an ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting and has filled numerous roles on boards over the years, current roles including Board member and Treasurer of Oxfam International, member of the Finance and Investment Committee of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Board member and Treasurer of the CIPD, Director of the FinTech TreasurySpring, Trustee of the Guildhall School Trust and External Member of the Bank of England’s SONIA Oversight Committee.
Caroline is a linguist, musician, trained coach and passionate bell ringer, and is married with two children.
Caroline has travelled the world running seminars on leadership and strategic influencing, often with a focus on diversity and inclusion, and has written courses on leadership for a number of organisations.
