Durham Law School second year first generation students were gifted textbooks by international Law Firm, Hill Dickinson. Each student received a textbook bundle to help support their studies as they move into their second year of studies at Durham Law School.
Andrea Proudlock, (Partner at Hill Dickinson) and Lucy Probert (Senior Associate at Hill Dickinson) were there to present second year first generation scholars with their textbooks ahead of the start of term. A huge thank you to colleagues at Hill Dickinson for their support with this very generous gift!
The celebratory event was held in Hogan Lovells Lecture Theatre and opened with an introductory speech from Dean of the Law school, Professor Volker Roeben, followed by words from the Deputy Dean for Education, Rachel Avery. Andrea Proudlock, Partner at Hill Dickinson, gave a short talk to students on Hill Dickinson as a firm. After the presentation, a drinks and food reception was held afterwards in the atrium. With thanks to the Deputy Dean for Education, Rachel Avery, Business Development Manager, Jessica Banks and Learning and Teaching Administrator, Elizabeth Millican for organising the initiative and the event.
