Upcoming Summer Fair Hosted by the Careers and Enterprise Service

Throughout the autumn term, Careers and Enterprise hosted three highly successful sector-specific fairs: STEM, Law, and Business, Finance & Consultancy. Each event welcomed over 1,000 students, creating a energetic atmosphere which accommodated meaningful interactions.

Employers were kept busy, engaging with enthusiastic students, eager to ask questions, make connections, and be inspired. The strong turnout and vibrant conversations highlighted both the value of in-person engagement and the eagerness for career-focussed conversations.

Building on this momentum, the Summer Careers Fair will provide an inclusive platform open to employers from all sectors. It is particularly well suited to organisations whose graduate opportunities fall outside the core sectors typically represented in our autumn fairs, as well as those offering alternative or emerging career paths. The fair is ideal for employers with early recruitment cycles, and those promoting graduate roles, internships, placements, or insight opportunities in areas such as:

• Creative industries, non-profits, public sector, retail, logistics, IT, and more.
• Employers of all sizes – from regional SMEs to national graduate recruiters.
• Organisations looking to return and continue building their brand with Durham students.
• Employers who missed the autumn sector-specific fairs and wish to engage with a wide student audience.
