Access advanced imaging tools, expert support, and a collaborative research space designed to help you generate high‑quality data. New and experienced users are welcome. Registration and training are required to ensure safe, responsible, and effective use of all instruments. Please see below information for facility users and access.

Access for Internal Staff and Students

To access the facility, all internal users must complete an annual registration process. This registration period runs from 1st August to 31st July of the following year, and the registration form is available on the internal SharePoint site.

Access is contingent upon adherence to the user policy agreement,

Internal users will receive initial training to enable them to operate the instruments such that they can conduct their research independently. Additional specialist support is available upon advance request.

The facility operates from 0700 to 1900. Independent users may extend their work hours until 2200 by following the Out of Hours protocol, available on the SharePoint site.

Our microscopy facility welcomes researchers from partner universities seeking advanced imaging capabilities and expert technical support. External users can access a wide range of high‑performance instruments designed to enable high‑quality data collection and innovative scientific exploration.
