The event is the only film festival in Durham and is run by students, for students, in partnership with the British Film Institute (BFI). It will feature films from the UK to Hong Kong, judged by BFI-appointed London Short Film Festival Artistic Director Phil Ilson. This year, the organisers have expanded the number of events but have aimed to keep the price accessible to all students, with discounted entry for North East students.
