Spotlighting how Durham University Business School’s research is influencing policy, shaping business practice and contributing to society on a global scale.

Edition 15 brings together research-led articles exploring themes including neurodiversity in entrepreneurship, disinformation in influencer marketing, childcare inequality, climate-related sovereign debt, leadership authenticity and investor behaviour. It also features insights into how our expertise is influencing labour market reforms across the globe.

Community initiatives and achievements

Alongside the research, this edition celebrates key developments across our community. From our Retreat to Write initiative supporting educational scholarship, to the growth of our Smart and Scale leadership programme for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs), and student experiences on the Dissertation Abroad scheme.

Milestones and celebrations

Edition 15 also reflects on a series of major milestones for the School. These include the official opening of The Waterside, our new city-centre base designed to enhance collaboration and student experience, as well as events commemorating the 60th anniversary of Durham University Business School.

IMPACT continues to demonstrate how our research contributes to the big conversations shaping policy, business and society. Edition 15 showcases work that challenges existing thinking, supports evidence-based decision-making and helps address global challenges.
