Wuhan University visits Durham to build our strategic partnership
On 31 May 2023, we were very pleased to welcome colleagues from Wuhan University to Durham to meet with colleagues from our Science and Social Sciences and Health faculties. The visit builds on our renewed undergraduate and doctoral student exchange agreements and saw enthusiasm from both sides to deepen collaborations in education and research.

Durham City Run Festival returns to our historic city this year, providing summer competition, fun, and celebration.
Celebrating our winning Volunteers
Congratulations to the winners of this year's Durham University Volunteering and Outreach (DUVO) Awards. These annual awards celebrate the positive impact the work of our volunteers has on individuals, the community, and our partners. Many of our students and staff were recognised for the invaluable contribution they make to over 20 different projects.
MA Students Produce New Archaeology Exhibition
A diverse group of international students, including participants from North America, China and India, have worked together to produce the latest exhibition on display at the Museum of Archaeology. ‘Throwing it Out There: The Archaeology of Ritual, Rivers and Rubbish’ will open on 15 June. The students have created this exhibition as part of their course, the MA Museum and Artefact Studies, in the Department of Archaeology.

Go Green at Greenspace Festival
Our third annual Greenspace Festival will take place on Wednesday 14 June, from 12pm – 5pm at Grey College. The festival celebrates our student environment groups, researchers, local charities and sustainable businesses, by showcasing the work they do to tackle climate change and drive sustainable development.
