BSI Interdisciplinary Mentorship Matchmaking
Our mentorship programme matches mentors to mentees to support career development in areas specific to interdisciplinary research.
Aims
Our matchmaking programme aims to provide supportive, relaxed mentorship in areas specific to Interdisciplinary research. It will complement, not replace, the mentorship already established within Departments.
Sign-up for Mentorship Matchmaking here: https://forms.office.com/e/nPSUS0SC5p
How it works
We will match you with a potential mentor or mentee according to your and their career stage, the areas you want to focus on and the role(s) you want to take in the partnership. After matching with a partner, a series of informal mentorship meetings are encouraged, taking place over a 6 month period.
Each mentor/mentee pair will be given coffee vouchers for their mentorship sessions. These meetings can be held in whatever format and frequency works for you. At the end of the six-month period we will ask for feedback to track the impact of the mentorship.
How to get involved
Please use the short form here, to share with us your career stage, the areas that you want to cover and areas in which you can offer support to others. If you already have a mentor in mind this can be added to the form too.
