Ecocriticism and Medieval & Early Modern Studies 

One important and visible area of ecocritical research in Durham is the Medieval and Early Modern strand, which promotes and engagement between modern ecocritical thought and literary, codicological, and cultural studies of the medieval and Early Modern periods. It is led by Laura Chuhan Campbell.
