Biography
I am a PhD student in the Centre for Neurodiversity and Development at Durham University. My research takes a multi-method approach to explore the experiences of neurodivergent young people in relation to anxiety, school distress, and attendance difficulties. Ultimately, the project asks how educational environments can best support young people. The project involves working with stakeholders to ensure we are asking the right questions and centralising the lived experience of young people. Investing in Children are a collaborative partner on my PhD.
My PhD is supervised by Prof Mary Hanley and Prof Debbie Riby, and is funded by a NINE DTP 1+3 studentship.
