Staff profile

I am in charge of employability development of students at Durham University. This entails liaising with departments regarding embedding employability into the curriculum and designing departmental skills development. I also manage the Employability Skills Programme, which encompasses skills sessions mainly run by employers, but also by colleagues and myself. These interactive sessions prepare students for the recruitment process and the world of work. Furthermore, I am responsible for the development of online career development learning.

In previous roles at the university I was a Teaching Fellow for German, a tutor on the Durham University Learning and Teaching Award (DULTA) and the Researcher Development Officer in charge of the training programme for PhD students.

I obtained an MA in Educational Research from the Durham University School of Education in 2019 with a particular focus on intercultural education and I am a PhD candidate in the same school researching the experience of German theology students during their year abroad in Jerusalem.
