Biography
Diana is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering. She graduated with an M.Sc. in New and Renewable Energy Engineering, with an Electrical specialization before transitioning to the PhD. She holds a B.Eng. in Renewable Energy from the Universidad Autonoma de Yucatán, Mexico.
Research Project
Diana's research focuses on the infrastructure planning for offshore wind farms to improve the overall reliability and seamless integration to the grid through the quantification of the uncertainability in the early planning stage. She also holds an interest in energy quality and management in buildings and has participated in energy audits in Mexico. Recently, she collaborated on a short-term project with the Durham University Sustainability Team, providing recommendations for energy abatement and decarbonization.
