Biography
Jiayi Zhao Biography
Jiayi Zhao is a PhD student in the School of Education, at Durham University. She witnessed many problems in the field of education in China such as educational inequality, restrictions of policies, and uneven distribution of education resources. She is now working for the Durham University Evidence Centre for Education. Her recent research focuses on investigating the surge in the number of students pursuing postgraduate education in China. She has already contributed book chapters in two edited book series (An International Approach to Developing Early Career Researchers: A Pipeline to Robust Education Research and Researching Social Inequalities in Higher Education: Access, Diversity and Inclusion).
