Biography
Research
As a PhD student in Dr Patricia Muller's group, I'm currently investigating the mechanisms by which p53 mutant cancer cells distinguish between external cues, and alter their plasma membrane protein repertoire to meet the environmental demands. These changes are carried out at the level of the endosome; as such, my project seeks to understand the contribution of endosomal trafficking to chemoresistance and invasion, and to elucidate the factors governing cargo recruitment to the endosomal compartment.
Education
I completed a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, specialising in Biochemistry, and later an MSc via the Cancer MSc programme at UCL
