Biography

I am a PhD student in the Centre for Neurodiversity and Development at Durham University. My research adopts a participatory approach to explore the experiences and conceptualisations of friendship among autistic adults, with a particular focus on older adults (aged 45+).

I completed my master’s degree on the migration experiences of autistic adults, examining how different societal norms shape autistic identity and masking.

My PhD is supervised by Dr Amy Pearson and Dr Monique Botha and is funded by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan and a Departmental Fellowship.
