Staff profile

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Edinburgh. My previous work focussed on Trypanosome protein-protein interactions. Now, my PhD project is to design and load novel cargoes and crosslinkers into the TRAP (Trp RNA-Binding Attenuation Protein) cage. Building on existing knowledge of the TRAP cage, the strategy is to attach/load cargoes (CpG DNA, CRISPR/Cas9, and Antibody Drug Conjugates) to the TRAP proteins.
