Biography
I began my PhD "Investigating how the physical properties of DNA impact DNA damage and DNA repair" in October 2025. Prior to his, I graduated with a first class degree in Biomedical Sciences, specialized in Genetics, from Brunel University, receiving the Royal Society of Biology Top Performing Student Award. For my final year project, I examined how a rare variant in ubiquitous splicing factor PRPF31 leads to retinal-specific disease. I also completed a placement year at Almac Diagnostics doing assay development and validation for precision diagnostics and drug development for melanoma and colorectal cancer.
