Over the past decade, the world has changed dramatically, and we’ve faced many challenges together.

One of the biggest was the global pandemic, which reshaped how university communities connect. Lockdowns disrupted the in-person events and shared moments that once brought us together, both in the UK and around the world. But through it all, we adapted, grew, and learnt a great deal about ourselves and our communities.

Now, we’re looking ahead, and we’d love your help in shaping the next chapter of our alumni community.

This is your chance to share your views and help us build a future that reflects what matters most to you. Your insights will guide how we support your professional development and maintain your lifelong connection with Durham. You’ll also be able to tell us about your own Durham experience and how you'd like to hear from and engage with us in the years to come.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sending you emails with helpful guidance and your personalised link to take part in the survey.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete, and closes on Monday 30 June at 11:59pm (BST).

Your feedback will help Durham University better understand its alumni community and contribute to how the University plans and shapes future engagement with alumni. Your survey responses are strictly confidential and will only be reported in the aggregate, unless you give permission otherwise at the end of the survey.
