Kapil Kirpalani

Kapil read Law at Durham University and graduated from St. Aidan's in 2003.

He is the Global Head of Compliance at Sequoia Capital. For the last 20 years he has worked in various roles as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer in Asia for KKR, HarbourVest and Citigroup, after starting his career in private practice. 

Kapil is an Advisory Board Member with the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA), and was a Council member with the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. He has been a guest lecturer at several Universities, and mentors tertiary students as well as junior practitioners on issues related to international regulation and law.
