The Business School, in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), is pleased to host an informal and welcoming networking event for business owners from across the North East. This relaxed session will focus on building new connections, rekindling existing relationships, and sharing insights in a friendly and engaging setting.
This event is open to both FSB members and non-members, offering a valuable opportunity for all local business owners to connect and collaborate.
It will be a relaxed event with an emphasis on making introductions, connecting with new contacts and meeting old friends, featuring expert guest speakers delivering a bite sized seminar on topical matters. Whether you are a regular networker or new to these type of events, you will find a warm welcome and a nice easy atmosphere for making those valuable introductions.
Speaker session - Emotional Intelligence Under Pressure
We will focus on how to stay composed and make better decisions in high-pressure moments. The short presentation will explore what actually happens in the brain under pressure, the common triggers you will face and practical tools to use to support you in these scenarios.
About our speakers
Lysa Morrison: With over 20 years' experience, Lysa is an expert in unlocking human potential across diverse organisations. Her expertise spans business strategy, culture, behavioural science, emotional intelligence, and more. She holds an Executive MBA from Newcastle University, lectures in Transformation and is a qualified EMCC Master Coach, NLP Master Practitioner and Accredited Trainer, and a proud TEDx speaker.
Chris Cook: From the Olympics to the boardroom, former Double Olympian, Chris seamlessly transitioned into motivating and coaching individuals within businesses worldwide. Over 13 years, he has shared invaluable lessons from his athletic journey with over 400,000 individuals, focusing on personal development, motivation, and optimal performance.
