Bar

Aidan’s bar is a welcoming, inclusive social space which extends outside into the Beer Garden with its lovely views of our natural and cultural environment. It’s the perfect place to hang out with your friends, take part in our pub quizzes, share major sporting and TV events like our famous Eurovision evening and or watch Aidan’s alumni in Bake Off. Our Bar organises our much-loved Summer Festival each June.

The sabbatical Bar Steward heads our Team Bar, our friendly, highly professional student bar staff.  Hundreds of Durham students have gained valuable experience and training through their paid work in the Bar.
