Durham Parish Council have nominated the building to receive a Blue Plaque to celebrate St Mary's 125th Anniversary.
The unveiling will take place outside 33 Claypath, now known as Claypath Court, DH1 1QE at 1pm. We anticipate the unveiling to take around 10 minutes. After the unveiling, we will head to Christchurch, located next door, for a light lunch and refreshments. The event will close at 3pm.
Please note, the building itself is on a busy main road and there is limited space to view the unveiling ceremony. Guests are welcome to come for refreshments and see the blue plaque at their leisure.
