REGIO Cultural Heritage Management Consultancy and Training Inc. was established in Ankara in 2009. Since its foundation, the company has been committed to the preservation of cultural heritage and the common heritage of humanity, primarily in Türkiye and in other countries (Such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq) across the region, to ensure their safe transmission to future generations. To this end, REGIO employs highly qualified experts in Cultural Heritage Management, as well as in the Documentation and Conservation of Cultural Heritage Assets. REGIO is the first private company in Türkiye with the capacity, equipment, and organisational structure required to operate throughout all regions of the country, as well as internationally, in the documentation, assessment, and evaluation of cultural heritage assets, while also supporting their formal registration processes for public protection and conservation purposes. 

REGIO carries out its professional activities in accordance with the standards and guidelines of international organisations and financial institutions, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the World Bank, as well as the Guidance and Toolkit for Impact Assessments in a World Heritage Context (ICOMOS, 2022).
