Short description: Students are spotted at a bar handing out personalised ''Dating Cards'', bought from a newly formed company, Offline Dating. They symbolise a societal shift away from online dating, popularising the meeting of new romantic matches in person.

Short description: Surirella diatom viewed at 400 times magnification under a light microscope as part of undergraduate dissertation research. The samples were extracted from lake sediments cored at Coire Fhionn Lochan, a mountain lake on the Isle of Arran, Scotland.
