Film screening and producer talk Myanmar: War with the Junta

Join Law and Global Justice for a screening of 'Myanmar: War with the Junta'. The film uses front line camera footage, leaked documents and exclusive interviews to reveal widespread violations by the ruling Junta, while not shying from the fact that rebel forces are also committing abuses. The Al-Jazeera documentary was shortlisted for the 2026 Orwell Prize for Journalism, with the judges praising the investigation for being “fearless, forensic and of enormous scope”.

We will be joined by the film's senior producer Fiona MacGregor, a doctoral researcher at Durham Law School for discussion of the film and Q&A. Light refreshments will be provided.
