French Creative Writing Contest on the Theme of L'autre

"The School of Modern Languages and Cultures and the Centre for Foreign Language Study are delighted to launch the second edition of their creative writing contest in French on the theme of “L’autre”. 

The contest is open to specialist and non-specialist learners of French who are studying in a UK university. It is open to students at the following levels of the CEFR: elementary (A2), intermediate (B1-B2) and advanced (C1-C2). Students are invited to submit a text in the genre of their choice (prose, drama, poetry, song, etc) by May 08th 2023. Entries should be up to 1500 words for C1+ levels; up to 1000 words for B1-B2 levels; and up to 500 words for the A2 level.

Prizes will be awarded for each CEFR level in June 2023 in Durham.
