Professor James Blowey (Deputy Executive Dean and Director of Natural Sciences)
The key characteristics of the Natural Sciences degree at Durham are choice, flexibility and depth.
The Natual Sciences degree programme is a flexible degree with a wide choice of subjects and a range of modules within each subject.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests in the department sessions.
We encourage guests to take the opportunity to see some of the facilities that Durham University has to offer, such as the Bill Bryson Library and Sports and Wellbeing Park. Guests may also wish to visit some of the public attractions that are close by, such as the Botanic Gardens, Durham Castle and Cathedral, and Oriental Museum. There are also plenty of woodland and river paths to walk and explore the surroundings of the department.
Guests are also welcome to drop-in to speak to central services during the event at the Palatine Centre and the Information Hub at the Teaching and Learning Centre between 9.00 am - 1:30 pm.
