Moving Social Care PDRA Team Presentation.

On the 19th of June the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing hosted an ECR conference for all those working on projects across health. Kate Marks and Jennifer Airlie enjoyed the opportunity to present on behalf of the Moving Social Care PDRA team - with work from both of our projects and those of Mark Hollett & Virginia Calabria. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team has led us to ask new questions and approach our projects in different and exciting ways. Across the presentation we highlighted the centrality of co-production, the potential for social care professionals to contribute to a social justice agenda, and the value of interdisciplinary research teams. We were very grateful to the Wolfson Research Institute for having us along and were delighted to be awarded the prize for Best Presentation on the day. 

There was also other great representation from Department of Sport & Exercise Sciences - Durham University with Holly Brown & Hillary Banjo presenting work from their PhDs.
